I'm Melting!

Yesterday was yet another terrible hot day and I was unable to get much of anything done. The temperature reached 110F at 3:00 p.m. and the sun blazed like a furnace - Phew! But, the sea breeze is supposed to reach the valley by Saturday and temperatures are expected to nose-dive down to 65F. Yea! I shall sit outside and shiver - I hope!

Mr. Indi had a successful meeting and was able to get away from work fairly early - he was home by noon and we went down to Chilis for lunch - ho hum - nothing special. Unfortunately, his Lordship is having a great deal of pain in his back and he's having to experiment with various painkillers to try and get some relief. The pain is probably from the bone cancer that has been detected in his ribcage and his pelvic area although he says it feels more like pulled muscles. Either way, the pain is keeping him awake at night and is not a good sign.

The picture is of a little old church in Murrieta that I caught in the shadows.
