Autumn Leaves!

We finally got a phone call from Dina at about 2:00 p.m. There is nothing unusual on the X-rays and the radiologist recommends a bone scan because he suspects bone cancer. Hmmm! We already know Mr. Indi has bone cancer. This must mean that it is getting deeper and/or more wide spread. He had a bone scan last April and Dina doesn't want to order another one until she discusses the situation with Dr. J. Unfortunately, Dr. J is on vacation - gallivanting around in a foreign country - until November 10! How RUDE! I do think these doctors have a lot of nerve. Fancy going on vacation like that!

So, I spent part of yesterday afternoon going to the clinic to pick up the prescription and dropping it off with Larry while I ran to the market and got some gourmet food for dinner (Fish sticks, chips and peas!) Cor! It was still as hot as ever - over 100F. I swear, that weatherman is going to you know where for lying!

The new meds seem to be helping his Lordship but he is staying home from work for the rest of this week. He is hooked up to the heating pad for most of the day and he would look silly going to work in grey trousers and a white shirt with a blue heating pad wrapped round his waist! It wouldn't match!

I took the picture yesterday to show people that we do have autumn in California! Yes - I have an apricot tree with leaves that are turning gold! I know it doesn't compete with autumn in New York but it's better than nothing! Isn't it?
