So glad you and Mr. I are OK.
Not sure if this might be of some help or not. Our family went through all this not so long ago with my father and 1 of mums wee tricks with both my dad and the babies as they came along was to make up the bed double. We bought cheap shower curtains and covered the mattress then made the bed then laid another shower curtain mattress protector and remade bed again. Then when there was a need for a quick change in the middle of the night it was already done.
