I have just got my connection back after spending 2 days arguing the toss with my provider. I shall be getting a new provider within the next week - can't put up with the BS anymore!
In the meantime - I'm crossing my fingers that this connection stays up.

Glad you have a choice of ISPs where you are. I have same issue here, but have a chice of one ISP :-) What can you do when you live in a small zoo...lol. I trust you'll get better service from the new ISP.
